About Us

The story of Jamie Jones was born during a time of prayer. The MacKay family, led by Kenny and Jennifer MacKay, alongside their children Alyssa (11), Liliana (9), and Gabriel (6) embarked on this creative venture as a way of sharing the gospel with kids. While Kenny wrote the story, Jennifer and Alyssa were the artistic talents behind the book’s charming illustrations. While Liliana and Gabriel each contributed their creative ideas.
Since 2010, the MacKay family has served children and young people in the UK. As missionaries, they are passionate about sharing the gospel and supporting churches in their evangelism efforts. The creation of Jamie Jones reflects their dedication to making a positive impact for God’s kingdom.

LUCY IRELAND

Hey. I’m Lucy and I love to dance, the colour pink and going to church. Jamie, Will and I are best friends. But it wasn’t always that way. If you want to know what happened, check out our book.

JAMIE JONES

Hi, I’m Jamie Jones. I started out the school year with no friends, a smelly sandwich, and I was being stalked by the school weirdo. I felt really sad and alone until something amazing happened. A girl called Lucy told me about God’s love for me, and that changed everything.

WILLIAM CHUKWU

Hello, my name is William Chukwu, but you can call me Will. I recently moved to a new school and felt out of place. I missed my friends in London. The kids at my new school didn’t want to talk with me. Until Jamie introduced himself.
